January 2025: Martin Gordon received the honour of Commander of the British Empire (CBE) from the Princess Royal at Windsor Castle, for services to people living with HIV and AIDS in China. Martin was awarded the honour in December 2020 but was only able to attend the Investiture to receive the honour four years later
September 2011: Martin Gordon received National Friendship Award from Deputy Premier Zhang Dejiang at the Great Hall of the People
March 2011: The Mayor of Beijing bestows Beijing Great Wall Friendship Award on Martin Gordon
November 2009: Award to Martin Gordon from Minister of Health for Outstanding Contribution to AIDS Prevention and Control in China
